YWW members were in for a spine-tingling, heart-pounding ride when the enigmatic Damien Salvatore graced our Character Speed Dating session. As the main male lead in Groan My Name: My Name Series, Damien is as dark as midnight and as dazzling as the brightest star. A psychopathic being with a penchant for pain, he’s the billionaire owner of Vatore’s Co., a madman, a Dom, and a man who loves in the most twisted, yet undeniable, way.


We asked Damien four bold questions to peel back his layers. Let’s just say, his answers left us questioning everything we thought we knew about villains, love, and obsession.

Q1: When you’re alone in the dead of night, what’s the one thought or memory that always finds you—and do you let it stay or try to chase it away?

Damien:

"The one thought that refuses to leave my mind is pain. Death. Anguish. I don’t sleep—not because of insomnia, but because I don’t want to. Sleep is useless. Weak. I’d rather stay awake torturing or pleasing than allow memories from a sob story to stay with me."


Cue the chills. Damien doesn’t just avoid vulnerability; he obliterates it. His unapologetic view of the world is chilling yet strangely captivating. Love him or fear him, one thing is certain—this man doesn’t dwell in regret.

Q2: If you were given a chance to predict your own death, how would you do it?

Damien:

"In a woman’s cunt. Maybe poisoned by a woman? Of course, a sub. Maybe she stabs me, or poisons me—I don’t care. Anything she does is with my permission anyway. I’m not predicting it; I’m telling you what will happen."

Damien:

"Well, I have her. She doesn’t know it yet, but I do. And I have no intention of letting her go. I’ve always watched her. Call me a stalker if you want, but every man that dares to lay a hand on her can’t boast of it now. And I mean every. That little lesbian friend of hers, too. I know everything about her—her likes, dislikes, tastes, pain, and all. I know it."

We gathered for a story-building game that turned out to be an adventure of creativity, humor, and a little bit of chaos. The rules? Simple.
